ICI Services is looking for motivated individuals to join our team in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Port Hueneme, Port Hueneme, CA. We are a small, employee-owned defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Services, and Technical Services to government clients in 14 states and the District of Columbia. We need a Systems Analyst ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment. 

 Security Clearance:

• Applicant must hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.

Responsibilities:

• Help determine better ways to coordinate and manage large organizations that require the effective use of money, materials, equipment, and people. 
• Apply analytical methods from mathematics, science, and engineering.
• May be concerned with diverse issues such as top-level strategy, planning, forecasting, resource allocation, performance measurement, scheduling, the design of production facilities and systems, supply chain management, pricing, transportation and distribution, and the analysis of large databases.
• Analysts can use any of several techniques, including simulation, linear and nonlinear programming, dynamic programming, queuing and other stochastic-process models, and the analytic hierarchy process.
• Most techniques involve the construction of mathematical models that attempt to describe the system being studied.
• The values assigned in models can be altered to examine what may happen to the system under different circumstances.
• Support engineering analyses and technical assessments

Experience Requirements:

• 7 years professional experience in Operations Research
• Experience in a US Navy program office a definite plus

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering Discipline, Mathematics or physics is preferred.
• Additional Experience may be allowed to substitute for a degree.
