Our firm was developed by Sam Schwartz (famously known as “Gridlock Sam”), a pioneer in traffic engineering and management. Sam is a recognized traffic expert with over 40 years’ experience in the public and private sectors, even having served as New York City’s Traffic Commissioner in the 1980s. SSPTMS primary services the entire New York City metropolitan area, but our services are used throughout the United States (including but not limited to Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Florida, and Washington D.C.) and are ever-expanding. Currently, we are seeking experienced supervisors to join us on a full-time basis for work in New York City.
About the Field Supervisor Position:
The Field Supervisor is the primary, on-site liaison between SSPTMS and the client. The Field Supervisor reports to the General Manager and is responsible for ensuring the work site is operated in a manner consistent with our contracts, policies, and applicable legal or safety standards, all while maintaining strong working relationships with SSPTMS, our employees, and the client. Work is done outdoors and in all weather conditions.

The Field Supervisor is a full-time, non-exempt position. SSPTMS is committed to equitable pay. As part of that commitment, we have provided the estimated compensation range for this position of $27.00 to $32.00 hourly.
