Traffic Clerk
General Description:
Responsible for analyzing the mode of transport and rate structures to be used for routing and expediting inbound supplies, equipment, and products (both International and Domestic) for all Colony Brands' companies. Handles outbound less-than-truckload (LTL) and truckload (TL) dispatches for all Colony Brands' companies including Green County Foods and Swiss Colony Retail Brands. Maintains the efficient flow of product between Colony Brands' facilities as well as product moving through 3rd party outside storage facilities and warehouses.
Specific Responsibilities:
1. Executes the dispatch of domestic freight shipments to/from Colony Bands' facilities.
2. Monitors weekly carrier activity.
3. Executes domestic common carrier pricing agreements.
4. Performs additional clerical duties.
