Additionally, Training Administrator may coordinate or administer skill or competency assessments, career counseling, outplacement, and other specialized training or development programs for employees. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Training Administrator gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Duties

    This position is located under the Office of Human Resources and Professional Development, ATF National Academy, Liaison Curriculum in Glynco, Georgia.

    Serve as a subject matter expert in employee training and development.
    Coordinate, formulate, and implement various phases of training program development.
    Research, formulate, and recommend training improvement methodologies and strategies.
    Conduct short and long-term strategic planning efforts for basic training programs.
    Develop and oversee processes for selecting and registering course participants, schedules and plans, and event management.

    Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progresses.

    Qualifications

    To qualify for 13, candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-12.

    Specialized experience is demonstrated experience, which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. Experience must be in the normal line of progression or must be related to the work of the position advertised and must be reflected in resume. Specialized experience include:

    Managing and providing resources for all internal and external training and development for the Bureau; AND
    Conducting needs assessments and developing training solutions; AND
    Implementing and delivering training products and evaluating the impact of training on employee and organizational performance.
