Training Analyst reviews and evaluates training programs for an organization to ensure the training needs of the organization are being fulfilled. Analyzes existing training program delivery, content, and aids to measure effectiveness and recommend program changes. Being a Training Analyst develops and recommends methods and materials for training staff and may propose new curriculum, ideas for group discussions, demonstrations, and workshops. Incorporates new training methods that may enhance programs and are relevant to company employees. Additionally, Training Analyst may conduct analysis of instructor performance to drive improvements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Training Analyst contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.     Overall Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

    • Deliver discipline specific engineering services that meet Worley Consulting, its clients and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
    • Perform engineering assignments on projects that meet project requirements on time and within specified budget.  
    • Perform discipline specific engineering services such as:

    o   Contribute to required engineering calculations including cable and equipment sizing, power system studies, grounding studies. etc

    o   contribute to appropriate studies, analyses and recommend actions; and

    o   assist with the preparation of designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations and design reports.

    o   Communicate effectively with the discipline team and project stakeholders.

    • Establish and maintain good working relationships within Worley, with its clients and other stakeholders.
    • Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance if required.
    • Prepare electrical deliverables, including but not limited to:
    • Design Deliverables (single line diagrams, loop drawings, interconnection diagrams, instrument layouts, schematics) in AutoCad Environment.

    o   Calculations (voltage drop, grounding, lighting, etc.)

    o   Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)

    o   Engineering lists (load list, equipment list, cable and raceway schedules, material take-offs)

    o   Power system modelling and design (ETAP, SKM, EasyPower, etc.)

    • Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and technical innovations in the discipline.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering.
    • Understanding of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office..
    • Pro-active, goal oriented with excellent attention to detail.
    • Excellent customer focus and able to consistently meet Worley Consulting and its client’s needs.
    • Effectively manages change to work tasks and the work environment and assists others with adapting to change.
    • A person of integrity who is trusted by others and consistently honours their commitments.
    • Able to identify issues, problems and opportunities; make timely decisions; develop appropriate and innovative solutions; and ask for assistance if required.
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to convey information and ideas to individuals and groups, and make presentations when required.
    • Demonstrates initiative and a willingness to learn and continuously improve on performance.
    • Able to work on multiple projects of various size and complexity.
    •  Able to work effectively in small to large multi-disciplinary teams, and share and transfer knowledge within teams.
