Training Assistant is responsible for clerical and administrative duties related to the delivery of training and organizational development programs. Schedules training events, coordinates with instructors, obtains and distributes required instructional materials, and communicates schedules and details. Being a Training Assistant processes enrollments and answers routine inquiries regarding courses, schedules, and locations. Uses an information system or database to enter data and produce reports on training statistics, inventory levels or assessments of the programs and instructors. Additionally, Training Assistant coordinates additional services including technical equipment, meals and refreshments, housekeeping, maintenance or repairs. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Training Assistant possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Job Description:
The Training Specialist is responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of the Nevada Copper Learning Management System to effectivity and efficiently execute training and learning requirements that support the goals and objectives of the company. This includes conducting onboarding training, developing training content and materials, performing field assessments of miners engaged in tasks and equipment operation, conducting site tours on the surface and underground, and administrating the digital learning management platform.

Work Schedule and Personal Protective Equipment:
The incumbent work schedule is typically 8 days on/6 days off, rotating on Wednesdays and subject to change based on business needs. Ability to work extended hours as operational needs require to support projects. Personal Protective Equipment required for the fieldwork portion of this position includes, but is not limited to, hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed boots. All equipment must be MSHA approved as applicable.
