Develops corporate training center strategies and initiatives that reflect the organizations goals. Being a Training Center Manager prepares business plans that support the operation of the center and adhere to budget. May collaborate with educational institutions to provide additional or specialized training. Additionally, Training Center Manager may be responsible for supervising trainers and instructors. Position Description
The Renaissance West Community Initiative (RWCI) Training Center Manager (TCM) will be responsible for the operations of the RWCI computer lab and training facilities to ensure that users have access to and assistance in the use of computer technology and training programs. The TCM assumes full responsibility for the operation, safety and security of the computer and training labs during scheduled morning, evening and weekend hours.
The TCM will work with other RWCI Career and Workforce Development staff to implement training courses and programs for residents and staff of RWCI. The Training Center Manager is a key member of the organization's administrative team that works together to support community and staff training processes in support of the mission, vision and values of RWCI.
The Training Center Manager will report to the Chief Operating Officer and make a significant contribution to the vibrancy RWCI by also supporting the overall success of the organization.
The TCM will:
Background and appropriate experience in Training, Technology, Education and Facilities Management. Management experience in a small business or nonprofit organization is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively across multiple stakeholder groups to achieve an ambitious set of goals.
