Develops corporate training center strategies and initiatives that reflect the organizations goals. Being a Training Center Manager prepares business plans that support the operation of the center and adhere to budget. May collaborate with educational institutions to provide additional or specialized training. Additionally, Training Center Manager may be responsible for supervising trainers and instructors. The Training and Development Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining a comprehensive training and development program for all lines of business for Hospital Revenue Cycle department. Which focuses on building the knowledge base and skills needed to reach optimal performance within the departments. The Manager, in conjunction with departmental leaders will: identify training and development needs based on job descriptions and required competencies, create and update training materials utilizing e-learning software when appropriate, facilitate the development and implementation of a training program for new associates and a performance management program for ongoing staff development. The Manager is responsible for the certification program of training staff.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree preferred.Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum required. Three years experience.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

F. Incumbent must have or develop a working knowledge of the structure of Montefiore Health System and the services and programs available in the various clinical and non-clinical departments
G. Minimum 2 years experience in call center quality accuracy/monitoring programs required
H. Experience in an insurance/health care/managed care environment and/or Call Center Supervisory experience preferred.
