Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Day Support Floor Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our Day Support Program. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with individuals with developmental disabilities, supervising staff/DSPs, documentation, medication administration, scheduling activities, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional care and support to individuals receiving services.
-Supervise and train staff on proper procedures and protocols
- Collect and review daily support notes
- Oversee lunch activities
- Manage individual's daily activities
- Administer medications as prescribed
- Assist with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living)
- Handle emergency situations with professionalism
Requirements:
- Previous experience in working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Previous supervisory skills
- Knowledge of systems and procedures for effective facility management
- First aid certification preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
