Training Center Manager jobs in Petersburg, VA
Training Center Manager manages all operational activities of the training center including staffing, facilities, and coordination with vendors and suppliers. Develops corporate training center strategies and initiatives that reflect the organizations goals. Being a Training Center Manager prepares business plans that support the operation of the center and adhere to budget. May collaborate with educational institutions to provide additional or specialized training. Additionally, Training Center Manager may be responsible for supervising trainers and instructors. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Training Center Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Training Center Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Day Support Floor Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our Day Support Program. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with individuals with developmental disabilities, supervising staff/DSPs, documentation, medication administration, scheduling activities, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional care and support to individuals receiving services.
-Supervise and train staff on proper procedures and protocols
- Collect and review daily support notes
- Oversee lunch activities
- Manage individual's daily activities
- Administer medications as prescribed
- Assist with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living)
- Handle emergency situations with professionalismRequirements:
- Previous experience in working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Previous supervisory skills
- Knowledge of systems and procedures for effective facility management
- First aid certification preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environmentThis is a rewarding opportunity for a compassionate person with a passion for providing quality care to individuals with developmental disabilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
