Position Title: Training Generalist
Core Schedule Blue Shift (Days Monday to Friday 6:30 am - 3:30 pm). Must be flexible in adjusting work hours when needed and working overtime and whatever shift is needed. Weekends may be required to work when needed. Must be able to travel both domestic and international up to 70% of the time.

The Training Generalist is responsible for the Vuteq training strategy, including designing, developing, and facilitating training programs as well as provide training, coaching, and assessments in support of Vuteq Group’s training systems. Developing training systems through analysis, design, development, and assessment of training programs and tools. Develops and implements processes, programs, and procedures to strengthen Vuteq’s performance in support of business objectives. Partners with other Vuteq facilities to develop training solutions to deliver results in support of our manufacturing excellence journey. Provide direct supervision and training to the Training Team Leaders. Provide leadership to the Training Team. Support, conduct the Vuteq Group Travel Training, and monitor the training outcomes.
Reporting to the EHS/Training Senior Specialist, the Training Generalist is responsible for helping supervise and coordinate activities. Traveling to other Vuteq Group locations and performing training activities there or monitor Training Team Leaders is a requirement. The Training Generalist helps with creating new training elements, preparing, and presenting new training material. This position provides leadership and will safely meet training goals at Vuteq Operations Support Center (VOSC).
POSITION INFORMATION
- Create and implement training programs that work to connect employees with business goals.
- Conduct training classes to other Vuteq Group locations ranging in a class size from a few individuals up to groups of 20. Training session presentations may last just an hour or extend for consecutive days. While training presentations are prepared and scripted, the live training format promotes impromptu questions from the audience, which requires the ability to organize information and thoughts, analyze conceptually, and think on one’s feet to respond appropriately.
- Work with management and other leadership positions to identify and evaluate business initiatives to determine appropriate training programs that meet company goals.
- Continuously make organizational improvements across all departments by evaluating and identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct research and analyze data in relation to the alignment and success of company goals, including identifying skill gaps and developing feedback on training programs.
- Local and domestic travel required.
- Vuteq Group Travel (travel to other plants) up to 70% of time.
- Evaluate feedback from trainees and other Vuteq plants to evaluate the effectiveness of training.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing setting, at times working varied hours and shifts.
- Track and report training progress and challenges as they relate to the company’s vision and goals.
- Countermeasure KPIs for training improvements
- Design and implement a variety of initiatives, action plans, programs, and training materials that employ e-learning, virtual learning, site-based training, assessments, and other solutions.
- Research industry standards and practices on industry sales training, remaining up to date on developments within the industry and competitors.
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and practices.
- Monitor safety and enforce safety protocol in assigned area(s)
- Oversee Team Leaders performance, including their training of other employees.
- Monitor training schedules/proficiency charts for daily processes and unusual conditions and ensure due dates are met.
- Oversee daily checks on equipment.
- Approve/deny time off/PTO and follow outlined process and timekeeping records for assigned team.
- Administer Corrective Actions and Coachings to employees on assigned team.
- Function as liaison between VOSC and Vuteq Group
- Oversee and maintain 5S of assigned area(s)
- Address employee concerns and participate in employee investigations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or 2 years supervisory experience preferred.
- Training and Development, Organization Development, or a related field is preferred.
- Factory or Distribution Center training experience preferred.
- Experience developing and dynamic delivery of training content preferred.
