Training Director directs the design, planning, and implementation of corporate training programs aligned with the objectives and strategy of the company. Collaborates with functional management teams to assess ongoing and future training and development needs as well as effectiveness of established programs. Being a Training Director develops a program delivery schedule that provides training as needed and in locations that work for the participants. Provides engaging communications about program information to encourage participation and highlight the value and benefits of training. Additionally, Training Director approves new training techniques and suggests enhancements to existing training programs. Oversees and establishes relationships with vendors to provide additional outside training programs. Manages and develops training professionals. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Training Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Training Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Summary of Role:

    The Director of Training has the unique opportunity to impact the lives of patients around the world through our entire Lantheus Portfolio. This position will focus on leading the execution of training and development aligned with organizational and brand strategy. This position requires strong in-line leadership as well as the ability to influence, lead, and engage with business partners (Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Regulatory, Commercial Operations, Medical, Legal, etc.)

    S/he will maintain cultural values during frequent interactions with company-wide, cross- functional partners.

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES:

    Reporting to the Head of Field Enablement, Training & Effectiveness, the Director will:

    1. Develop and execute strategic training plans that align with the company's objectives and fosters a culture of continuous learning and development.
    2. Design, deliver, and evaluate training programs for Field employees within Cardiology, National Accounts and Market Access, including onboarding, technical skills, and functional skill training.
    3. Collaborate with department heads and subject matter experts to identify training needs and prioritize areas for skill enhancement.
    4. Create engaging and interactive learning experiences utilizing a variety of training methods, including instructor-led training, e-learning, virtual modules, etc.
    5. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms, and make recommendations for improvement.
    6. Manage the training budget, resources, and external vendors to ensure cost-effective and high-quality training solutions.
    7. Oversee and co-administrator learning management systems (LMS) and other training platforms, including content management, user enrollment, and reporting.
    8. Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in training and development, and incorporate relevant innovations into our training programs.

    PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/ QUALIFICATIONS:

    Required:

    • 10 years in positions of escalating scope and responsibility within healthcare organizations
    • Proven experience in leadership roles with a track record of successfully implementing training strategies
    • Demonstrated success in commercial capabilities including, large account management, negotiation skills, and value proposition positioning.
    • Range of experience in training, sales, market access, national accounts and/or large IDN's
    • Proven record executing training strategies with field sales that impact overall organizational success
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire learners
    • Highly organized and detail- oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

    Preferred:

    • Diagnostic sales and training experience
    • Clinical, scientific, and /or technical discipline knowledge
