Training Manager designs, plans, and implements training programs, policies, and procedures. Collaborates with functional teams to assess ongoing and future training and development needs and the effectiveness of established programs. Being a Training Manager researches new training techniques and suggests enhancements to existing training programs to meet the organization's changing needs. Engages with vendors providing supplemental training programs or training content. Additionally, Training Manager ensures that training resources and delivery methods are kept up to date and are effective. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Training Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Training Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for learning the overall operations of a retail store under the direction of a Store Manager/Head Coach or District Manager. Gains knowledge and competency in financial processes required to manage a retail store.
Under guidance from supervisors has gained full proficiency in managerial responsibilities within 90-day timeframe. Available and willing to take SM responsibilities within local market (30 miles/30 minutes) if/when offered.
