Within the agency’s Division of Library Services, the Training Development Specialist II would:
- Develop, conduct, and evaluate study curriculums for training programs
- Analyze training needs
- Collaborate with subject experts and training vendors
- Cultivate a lifelong learning environment for public library staff
- Demonstrate written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills with strong intellectual and analytical skills
- Demonstrate a knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theory; experience in Learning Management System (LMS) administration and various computer software such as Microsoft Office and Adobe Captivate
- Perform other duties as required.
The successful candidate for this position will have experience and knowledge of training development and eLearning principles. A creative thinker, lifelong learner, and team player is highly preferred.
