Job Description:
ZACHRY is currently seeking an experienced Industrial Craft Training Specialist for new Construction work at our Golden Pass LNG Project in Sabine Pass, TX. This position will work a NIGHT shift.
The Craft Training Specialist will have extensive journey level skills, will support the Craft Development team with the curriculum facilitation of conventional craft training material to remediate training deficiencies.
RESPONSBILITIES:
- Facilitation of Craft Development programs in both English and Spanish
- Evaluate established training material and methods to improve delivery and competency
- Ensure compliance and consistency in training processes and procedures
- Review established training material and methods to mitigate quality, safety, production deficiencies for our craft personnel
- Ensure the safety of all training participants throughout the training, demonstration, practicing and performance verifications. Participate in the MPW process, while taking the lead on shop, tool, material and equipment inspections
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or GED
- 1-5 years of journey level experience in a craft(s)
- Computer proficiency (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively both verbally and in writing (English & Spanish)
- Ability to recall elements and details of process structure such as sequence of events.
- Ability to conduct basic mathematical calculations.
- Ability to represent in words or diagrams a scientific concept or relationship to task actions
- Ability to perform routine procedures like measuring length or using punctuation marks correctly for presentations.
- Ability to describe the features of a tool or equipment.
- Ability to identify and summarize the major events in a narrative.
- Ability to use context cues to identify the meaning of unfamiliar words.
- Ability to solve routine multiple-step problems.
- Ability to describe the cause/effect of a particular event.
- Ability to formulate a routine problem given general data and conditions.
- Ability to organize, represent data.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Five years of craft
- 3-5 years of Zachry Group experience
