General Description:

CVTC is searching for aself-motivated individual who has an experience in the Human Resources/Recruiting field and would like to make a positive impact in an extremely rewarding industry that provides training and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities.

The ideal candidate will work in a fast paced, process-focused environment. Must be a self-starter, dependable, organized, take direction well, have a creative, positive attitude, and be able to execute effectively and independently toward established guidelines. This individual will focus on the recruitment of quality, skilled and proficient applicants for our local day and supported living programs. Qualified individuals for this position will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as know how to prioritize.

The successful candidate is knowledgeable in all relevant aspects of Human Resources which could include but are not limited to: recruitment of employees including interviews, scheduling appointments, onboarding of new hires, and maintaining the HRIS database; assisting in coordination of benefit plans, and employee relations; employment and labor laws including FMLA/CFRA, PDL, COBRA, and ADA.

Required Qualifications:

• California Driver License
• High School Diploma/GED
• Provide a DMV Printout and Proof of Liability Insurance
• Driving your own vehicle is required (We reimburse mileage!)
• Physical requirements include- passing a TB test, a drug screening and a physical
• Fingerprinting and background screening

Desired Qualifications:

• AA degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
• Previous experience in recruitment and coordination of benefits
• Knowledge of IBS (HRIS)
