The award winning rehabilitation department has extensive services including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Language Pathology and Audiology. The Director of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation will report to the experienced Chief Nursing Officer, and be responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of the department. The Director will lead a close knit team of Physical Therapy Assistants, Physical Therapy Support staff, Occupational Therapists, COTA's and Speech Therapists while working in collaboration with other leaders to streamline methods to provide continuous high quality care for patients.
Essential responsibilities for the Director Rehabilitation Services will include the implementation of policies and procedures to maintain and exceed quality patient care, budgeting and monitoring of utilization of personnel and supplies. The Director will also oversee Oversee nursing service actively through the evaluation of staff performance, assuring alignment with facility and regulatory agency standards, policies, and procedures while playing a pivotal role in recruiting and selecting nursing service employees.
A candidate with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, or Occupation Therapy and strong leadership experience will surely make for a quick interview.
