The RN Director Surgical Services will oversee the OR, Pre-Operative Care, Day Surgery, Ambulatory Surgery, Outpatient Surgery, and Central Sterile Processing. This facility is a busy 100 bed academic center that is part of a highly accredited greater health care system. With an experienced Perioperative team working under them, the Nurse Director Surgical Services will be properly supported to ensure that all department goals and expectations are being met. The Surgical Services Nursing Director will report directly to the Vice President of Operations to keep them informed and will collaborate with them on unit goals and initiatives. This position will be supported by Perioperative Nurse Managers, Surgery Nurse Supervisors, Perioperative Nurse Educator, and experienced Surgical Service Staff Nurses.

As the RN Surgical Services Director, you will be accountable for overseeing unit operations, administrative functions, maintaining a fiscally responsible budget, and ensuring that your staff and departments are operating at the highest level possible. The Director of Surgery will be an experienced nursing leader in acute care hospital Perioperative specialty.
