Job Overview

The Spanish Translator will be responsible to help all employees get the understand the Biery Cheeses procedures and expectations for their positions.  

Essential Accountabilities

• Lead positive employee relations programs throughout the organization.

• Ability to translate contextually accurate information. 

• Ability to maneuver through all areas of the processing facility and translate in various environments.

• Work with Supervisors to ensure both the needs of the business and the needs of the employees are met while driving organizational standards.

• Partner with Production, Safety and Human Resource leadership to resolve employee issues and concerns 

• Participant as needed in facility’s communication efforts (i.e., newsletters, plant meetings, etc.)

• Ensure compliance with GMP regulations.

• Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Spanish and English languages.

• Prior experience doing translations preferred.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

• Prefer experience in Excel, Outlook & Word.

• Good Personality/ Ability to interact effectively with others.

• Team environment enthusiasts, Ability to multitask, Self-Motivated.

• Extreme confidentiality is required.

• Excellent follow-through skills.

• Demonstrate reliability and good work ethics, quality work performance, attention to detail is a must, and maintain a good working relationship with all other departments.

Work Environment

Work environment involves moderate risks or discomforts which may require special safety precautions working around moving machines in production facilities. Protective clothing or gear such as goggles, gloves and shoes may be required. 

Physical Demands

Work requires some physical strain such as long periods standing and walking in production facility, and lifting of moderately heavy items. Other physical demands include climbing, crouching, and reaching. Will work near moving mechanical parts, high and/or confining places.
