Translator translates written and spoken information from one language to another. Reads, comprehends, and rewrites materials in designated languages following established linguistic rules related to word meanings, sentence structure, grammar, and punctuation. Being a Translator must be well versed in vocabulary dealing with specialty. Must follow ethical procedures and policies that protect the confidentiality of information. Additionally, Translator may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Translator gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.   • Qualifications

    • Education: High School or greater;

    Experience:

    • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Teamwork Environment
    • Able to work directly with people of all background
    • Experience in healthcare or customer service setting preferred.
    • Familiarity with EMR preferred.
    • Licenses: Not required

    Clinic Director (primary) and Lead Patient Care Coordinator


    Responsibilities

    • Represent Spine & Sport according to the company mission & core values;
    • Enhance the patient experience through all touch points
    • Establishes and maintains quality service and positive interaction with all patients, customers, visitors, health care providers, and clinical employees.
    • Maintains strict patient confidentiality in accordance with Spine & Sport policies and standards.
    • Assist in maintaining the patient chart within EMR including but not limited to: intake, appointment scheduling, demographic information, etc.
    • Interprets, translates, transcribes all aspects of clinical visits as directed by the licensed provider.
    • Assist with Non-Patient related tasks as directed by Clinic Director/Supervising Physical Therapist.
    • Precisely and accurately interprets critical medical advice and information given by the licensed provider into equivalent terminology in the patient's native language.
    • Assists in translating medical text from English on behalf of internal and external customers; may translate patient education information as specifically requested by the licensed provider.


    Clinic Duties

    • All duties performed in the clinic are non-patient related.
    • Facilitates patient flow in clinic by proactively: prepping exercise equipment, maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic including cleaning tables, equipment, and all high contact surfaces;
    • Assists with translation between patients and clinical staff;
    • Attend and participate in weekly clinic meetings;


    Administrative Duties

    Assist with front office tasks as assigned to include, but not limited to:

    • Checking patients in;
    • Collecting co-pays;
    • Assisting patients using the Kiosk;
    • Scanning/copying documents;
    • Making phone calls;
    • Scheduling appointments

    Physical Demands

    • Requires full range of body motion;
    • Requires prolonged standing, walking, frequent bending, stooping, stretching, and lifting of 50- 100 pounds with assistance as necessary;
    • Requires manual and finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination, as well as vision and hearing within normal range;
    • Requires proficiency in use of office machines such as telephone, laptop, copier, appropriate medical equipment, and gym equipment;
    • Requires the ability to speak clearly and concisely.
