Translator translates written and spoken information from one language to another. Reads, comprehends, and rewrites materials in designated languages following established linguistic rules related to word meanings, sentence structure, grammar, and punctuation. Being a Translator must be well versed in vocabulary dealing with specialty. Must follow ethical procedures and policies that protect the confidentiality of information. Additionally, Translator may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Translator gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Pay Rate: $18.56 per hour
Qualified Ukrainian Interpreter will provide timely, high-quality translation and interpretation services to families and schools, minimizing cultural and linguistic barriers, promoting parent involvement and building a foundation for students academic success.
Provide face-to-face communication with individual students & their families.
Interpreter will work at the Central Administration Office and help with Registration, document translation, calls and video communications.
Some travel time within 5 mile radius to schools for IEP meetings, calls to parents and parent teacher conferences.
We will work with you on a flexible schedule and times (approximately 4 hours per day, 2 days a week).
Must have valid drivers license and the ability to drive to schools within a 5 mile radius when needed.
Must be able to interpret from Ukrainian to English and Ukrainian to English. - 18 Days Ago
