Transmitter Engineer installs, develops and operates all aspects of electronic equipment used to transmit radio and television programs. May require a bachelor's degree in engineering and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Transmitter Engineer has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Additionally, Transmitter Engineer works under immediate supervision. Scope of Position:
Responsible for having a deep and technical understanding of our product offerings, our customers' applications, and to use this understanding to assist in all aspects of driving product definition, providing technical support, and taking the company and its products to market. - Writes detailed application documentation for Dadanco products
- Defines new products and new applications
- Hands-on jobsite visits
- Provides technical and application assistance for representatives and/or customers for new products
- Gathers data needed for competitive analysis or product development direction
- Solves customer application problems in a timely manner
- Provides technical and product application training to our customers and representatives
- Performs other similar or related duties as required or requested
