Transplant Nurse Coordinator jobs in Kansas City, KS

Transplant Nurse Coordinator provides planning and coordination of all facets of clinical care for potential and actual transplant candidates and recipients. Manages referral, evaluation, and pre-transplant data for transplant patients and coordinates the clinical management of post-transplant patients. Being a Transplant Nurse Coordinator develops materials and delivers programs to educate and support patients, families, and clinicians throughout the transplant process. Requires clinical experience in the care and treatment of transplant patients. Additionally, Transplant Nurse Coordinator requires a bachelor's degree of Nursing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires registered nurse (RN). May require certification from a professional organ transplant nursing certification board. The Transplant Nurse Coordinator gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     Description

    The Digital Content Coordinator is responsible for providing on-going marketing, public relations, and media campaigns through digital means to include social media, video, and website to provide donation awareness across the MTN service area, including maximizing educational and awareness opportunities through social media engagement and video production.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    1. Produces, develops, and manages video production for internal and external communications, marketing, public relations, and storytelling.
    2. Coordinates and collaborates with the Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator and Graphic Designer to maintain and regularly update the MTN website to include current information and campaign materials.
    3. Coordinates and collaborates with department staff to maintain digital asset management tools and resources.
    4. Focuses on growing social media audiences utilizing metrics driven tactics.
    5. In conjunction with Director, Community Engagement and Public Relations, designs and implements MTN’s social media strategy including regular updates to social media channels.
    6. Generates ideas to develop unique plans/strategies for public relations and promotion across MTN service area.
    7. Collaborates and provides support for internal communications to MTN staff in conjunction with Director, Community Engagement and Public Relations.
    8. Supports all MTN campaigns, events, and programs through social media outreach.
    9. Provides social media analytics to leadership on a consistent, timely basis.
    10. Develops, implements, and delivers organ and tissue donation educational materials as needed for the general public, hospital services and volunteers.
    11. Serves as the Photographer for MTN events and activities occurring during and outside business hours.
    12. Maintains knowledge of federal and state laws/regulations related to the donation process, including knowledge of organ and tissue donation process, including DCD and brain death donation.
    13. Supports Donate Life America campaigns in the MTN service area, as directed by the Director, Community Engagement and Public Relations.
    14. Assists Donor Family Services in coordination and promotion of recognition events.
    15. Coordinates special events and activities as determined by leadership to achieve goals.

    Qualifications


    QUALIFICATIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    1. Undergraduate degree in marketing, communications or equivalent field of study required.
    2. Social media marketing experience, including ability to serve as the Facebook Business Manager required.
    3. 5 years experience in a professional position, or a combination of experience and education providing equivalent knowledge required.
    4. Video editing experience, including Adobe Creative Suite and Premier Pro Video required.
    5. Experience with content management systems for website maintenance strongly preferred.
    6. Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week. May be required to work for extended periods of time with few breaks.
    7. Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively, fostering cross-functional partnerships.
    8. Detail oriented, organized, excellent tracking/reporting skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    9. Microsoft Office proficiency required.
    10. Must maintain a valid driver’s license in accordance with MTN motor vehicle policy. Must have reliable personal automobile transportation to be used with company reimbursement using IRS guidelines. Must be able to travel within the service area by ground or air.
    11. Ability to lift 50 pounds and transfer short distances.
    12. Possess the ability to operate telephones, computers and office equipment.
    13. Ability to speak and communicate clearly in order to accurately convey information in person or by phone.
    14. OSHA Category III No exposure to bloodborne pathogens while performing assigned job duties.
    15. Home internet and wireless phone access may be required.
