Transplant Nurse Coordinator jobs in Monterey, CA
Transplant Nurse Coordinator provides planning and coordination of all facets of clinical care for potential and actual transplant candidates and recipients. Manages referral, evaluation, and pre-transplant data for transplant patients and coordinates the clinical management of post-transplant patients. Being a Transplant Nurse Coordinator develops materials and delivers programs to educate and support patients, families, and clinicians throughout the transplant process. Requires clinical experience in the care and treatment of transplant patients. Additionally, Transplant Nurse Coordinator requires a bachelor's degree of Nursing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires registered nurse (RN). May require certification from a professional organ transplant nursing certification board. The Transplant Nurse Coordinator gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Cath Lab Tech
Shift: 8hr shifts 7:30-16:00 M-F with some on-call after-hours and some weekends if needed.
Length of assignment: 13 weeks
Certification: BLS AHA And any one (1) of the following credentials required: ARRT registration with CI credentials; or RCIS, or RCES credentials from CCI; or CEPS certification from IBHRE. For CVT program graduates: Any one (1) of the following credentials required: RCIS, or RCES credentials from CCI; or CEPS certification from IBHRE
**Note- if traveler has a RCIS , they do not need the fluoro license**
Education: Graduate of CAHEP accredited CVT program or Completion of 2 (two) years Radiologic Technology training program approved by AMA -NURSE's Etc. Staffing Job ID #30116456. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
