Transplant Nurse Coordinator provides planning and coordination of all facets of clinical care for potential and actual transplant candidates and recipients. Manages referral, evaluation, and pre-transplant data for transplant patients and coordinates the clinical management of post-transplant patients. Being a Transplant Nurse Coordinator develops materials and delivers programs to educate and support patients, families, and clinicians throughout the transplant process. Requires clinical experience in the care and treatment of transplant patients. Additionally, Transplant Nurse Coordinator requires a bachelor's degree of Nursing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires registered nurse (RN). May require certification from a professional organ transplant nursing certification board. Job Summary
The primary purpose of the Nurse Aide Instructor is to provide quality instruction to students at Maysville Community and Technical College.
Job Duties:
• Effectively teach nurse aide courses as assigned by the college (assignments may be at any campus site).
• Develop and implement web enhanced and/or on-line nursing courses.
• Provide for and be actively involved in on-going evaluations, development, and enhancement of nursing offerings.
• Actively utilize instructional and discipline research data to employ methods for continuous improvement in instructional and institutional effectiveness.
• Actively utilize technology as a learning tool and actively evaluate instructional tools for effective learning.
• Participate in academic and student enhancement activities, including student advising.
• Maintain and improve, through professional development, competence in discipline knowledge and instructional techniques.
• Participate in internal and external service activities (college committees, system committees, community relations).
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
Associate Degree in Nursing.
Current active, unencumbered licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Kentucky.
One year of clinical experience in a long-term care setting.
