Transplant Nurse Coordinator provides planning and coordination of all facets of clinical care for potential and actual transplant candidates and recipients. Manages referral, evaluation, and pre-transplant data for transplant patients and coordinates the clinical management of post-transplant patients. Being a Transplant Nurse Coordinator develops materials and delivers programs to educate and support patients, families, and clinicians throughout the transplant process. Requires clinical experience in the care and treatment of transplant patients. Additionally, Transplant Nurse Coordinator requires a bachelor's degree of Nursing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires registered nurse (RN). May require certification from a professional organ transplant nursing certification board. The Transplant Nurse Coordinator gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Responsibilities
Extraordinary opportunity for an RN Coordinator with the Stem Cell Transplant & Cellular Therapy program (formerly known as BMT). Seeking RN with transplant and/or Heme-Onc experience. Primary responsibilities include: education of patients, care givers and staff members; overall coordination of the stem cell and cellular therapy transplant patient population, including symptom management triage. Coordinator functions as a liaison between the outpatient and inpatient program areas and must possess strong interpersonal communication skills, organization, and autonomy in decision making. Requires an active New York State RN license in good standing.
Qualifications
Requires an active New York State RN license in good standing. Applicants will have a minimum of 3 years of RN experience.

Pay Range
Pay Range: $38.26 - 49.74
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job's salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
