Transportation Director directs, develops, and implements overall operations of a transportation network including safety, compliance, equipment, and staff. Develops and directs operational policies and procedures to ensure safety and efficiency in all transportation activities. Being a Transportation Director monitors transportation costs, service level agreements, and performance metrics to identify and resolve problems and achieve efficiencies. Partners with internal and external stakeholders to forecast and meet capacity needs. Additionally, Transportation Director oversees the acquisition and oversight of transportation providers. Responsibilities:
· Responsible for professionally transporting passengers to their destination in a safe, timely, and friendly manner in a company vehicle.
· Must adhere to all federal, state and agency rules regarding HIPAA Requirements.
· Advanced training available
· Demonstrate understanding and sensitivity of the needs of clients.
· Obey and comply with local traffic regulations.
· Complete paperwork utilizing tablets or electronic devices as required.
· Perform additional duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications:
· Current valid NM driver’s license or in the process of changing to NM license.
· Must have a clean motor vehicle record for 3 years minimum.
· Willing to undergo and pass background and drug screening.
Must be available to work with the demands of the agency, which are subject to potentially non conventional hours.
