Transportation Director directs, develops, and implements overall operations of a transportation network including safety, compliance, equipment, and staff. Develops and directs operational policies and procedures to ensure safety and efficiency in all transportation activities. Being a Transportation Director monitors transportation costs, service level agreements, and performance metrics to identify and resolve problems and achieve efficiencies. Partners with internal and external stakeholders to forecast and meet capacity needs. Additionally, Transportation Director oversees the acquisition and oversight of transportation providers. Requires a bachelor's degree in logistics, transportation, supply chain management, or equivalent. Typically reports to top management. The Transportation Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Transportation Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     Job Title: Director of Information Technology with Continuous Opportunities for Growth!

    A Day in the Life as a Director of Information Technology: As a Director of Information Technology you'll be responsible for developing and executing IT strategies. Oversee all technology operations (e.g. network security) and evaluate them according to established goals. Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs. Purchase efficient and cost-effective technological equipment and software. Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency. Identify the need for upgrades, configurations, or new systems and report to upper management. Manage vendor relationships and contracts to support project goals. Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans. 

    Qualifications:
    • Proven experience with Azure: 
      • More than 50% Console.
      • Heavy use in these Modules: Security and Identity Mgmt. (AD, Defender, Sentinel, etc.).
      • How it operates at 10,000ft and ground level, too.
    • Proven experience in an IT leadership role, ideally within a manufacturing or transportation industry.
    • Strong technical knowledge of infrastructure, cybersecurity, and software systems.
    • Excellent project management skills and the ability to drive IT initiatives.
    • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001).
    • Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong vendor management and negotiation capabilities.

    Education:
    • Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Preferred: Master's Degree.
