Transportation Director directs, develops, and implements overall operations of a transportation network including safety, compliance, equipment, and staff. Develops and directs operational policies and procedures to ensure safety and efficiency in all transportation activities. Being a Transportation Director monitors transportation costs, service level agreements, and performance metrics to identify and resolve problems and achieve efficiencies. Partners with internal and external stakeholders to forecast and meet capacity needs. Additionally, Transportation Director oversees the acquisition and oversight of transportation providers. Requires a bachelor's degree in logistics, transportation, supply chain management, or equivalent. Typically reports to top management. The Transportation Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Transportation Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Drivers get home for 34-48 hours every week. While try and get you home on the weekend this is NOT GUARANTEED.
Account is 95% no touch and 85% drop n hook with guaranteed minimum pay of $1060/WK with average weekly pay of $1150 and average annual pay of $55-$65K
Drivers will run TX, OK, LA, AR and parts of MO and KS-drivers will get home weekly and we try and make it the weekends but no guarantee

Qualifications:
Must be 22 years old with
6 months regional or OTR in the last 12 months
No serious moving violations in the last 3 years such as following too closely, reckless careless, etc
May not have more than two moving violations of any kind in the last 12 months
No DOT Recordable Preventable in the last 3 years
No DUI in PMV in the last five years and none ever in a CMV – will NOT accept SAP
