Transportation Engineer jobs in Troy, NY

To organize and provide transportation to and from assigned sites based on a weekly schedule. This position provides transportation for individuals enrolled in Rensselaer County's Family Treatment Court and their children to and from supervised visitations.

Primary Duties & Essential Functions:

• Provide transportation to and from assigned sites scheduled on a weekly basis.
• Provide transportation to and from visitations for youth of parents involved in family treatment court.
• Provide pickup and delivery services, both scheduled and unscheduled as directed by the supervisor.
• Schedules return appointments as the calendar permits and reports them to the Parenting Time Case Manager.
• Check the vehicle to be used to determine that it is safe prior to use. Report any maintenance needs on the vehicle as required by the Maintenance Department.
• Maintain the vehicle used in a clean manner and leave it ready for the next driver.
• Preform clerical duties when no transportation is needed such as filing, copying, and answering phones.
• Responsible for all jobs assigned and cooperate with administration when requested in other areas of the agency.

Required Education, Knowledge, and Skills:

• A valid NYS Driver's License and safe driving record.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
