Transportation Manager manages and coordinates the daily operations of a transportation network including safety, compliance, equipment, and staff. Implements operational policies and procedures to ensure safety and efficiency in all transportation activities. Being a Transportation Manager monitors transportation costs, service level agreements, and performance metrics to identify and resolve problems and achieve efficiencies. Partners with internal and external stakeholders to meet forecasted capacity needs. Additionally, Transportation Manager manages relations with transportation providers to ensure the achievement of required service levels. Requires a bachelor's degree in logistics, transportation, supply chain management, or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Transportation Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Transportation Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Job Title: Procurement Manager with Continuous Opportunities for Growth!

    A Day in the Life as a Procurement Manager:
    Manage overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of procurement for the upfit facility. Implement procurement strategies to maintain security of supply and optimum value for money. Perform all procurement and contracting activities including pre-qualification, tender management, negotiation, and preparation of contracts. Work alongside of production to keep supply timing in line with production schedule. Set policy and guidelines for delivering commercial and cost-effective procuring process for the business. Develop key relationships with business stakeholders and strategic supply partners to improve business. Implement change and develop new processes to better procure goods and services. Negotiate contracts with suppliers to obtain best price and service. Identify cost reduction opportunities to achieve financial goals. Analyze market and delivery trends to develop procurement technologies and processes that support those trends. Identify areas for improvement to continually drive performance and business results. Conduct business review meetings with key stakeholders to assess risk, review future strategies, and identify potential cost down and improvement opportunities. Review current processes for procurement and make recommendations where appropriate. Provide periodic reporting for management on purchasing, controls, and processes. Manage associates to company procurement process requirements.

    Qualifications:
    • Proven experience managing supply chain operations.
    • Experience using supply chain management software and tools, including Oracle, SAP Ariba, and/or envision.
    • In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
    • Management and leadership skills.
    • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
    • Highly organized and detail oriented.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

    Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration or 5 years’ experience in like position
