What you’ll be doing:
As an Online Travel Agent, you are responsible for customer bookings
You will be involved in:
- Rectifying incomplete bookings. Did the internet go down? No confirmation received? Was a wrong e-mail address entered? You know how to find and fix the booking without problems!
- Making flight and/or hotel changes or cancellations
- Changing a partial cancellation. In this case, the customer has already made a booking but wants to cancel/modify part of the booking.
- Accurately completing a booking change and calculating the margins. This way, you can make a clear calculation of the (new) total price.
We are available to fix and update customer bookings in the evenings and on weekends as well. That means we offer daytime, evening and weekend shifts, and you get more freedom and flexibility in your schedule.
What you’ll bring/Who you are:
- You have an associate’s degree or equivalent
- You have relevant work experience in the travel industry and/or a passion for the travel industry
- You are flexible and adaptable and like working in a fast-paced environment.
- You are solution-oriented and you see difficult questions as a fun challenge.
- You are proficient in data entry/administrative tasks.
- You are fluent in English, written and verbal.
- You’re good with numbers and have a working knowledge of Excel.
