We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Travel Agent to join our team. This is a full-time on-site role for a Corporate Travel Agent located in Toledo, Ohio Metropolitan Area. The Corporate Travel Agent will be responsible for making reservations; air reservations, hotel reservations, car rentals, providing exceptional customer service and making sales to ensure that clients are satisfied with their travel experiences.
Duties:
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with their travel needs
- Research air travel, hotels, car rental and activities based on client preferences
- Book flights, accommodations, car rentals, and other travel-related services
- Handle inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns related to travel arrangements
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and travel regulations
- Build and maintain relationships with clients to ensure repeat business
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop new travel packages and promotions
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Travel Agent or in a similar role
- Proficient in using reservation systems (Sabre preferred) and online booking platforms
- Strong knowledge of various travel destinations, hotels, and airlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional customer service abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Sales-driven mindset with the ability to meet sales targets
