Travel Coordinator coordinates travel arrangements. Schedules hotel, flight, and car rentals and prepares itineraries. Being a Travel Coordinator answers questions about travel policies and process. Assists with visa processing and other travel related documentation. Additionally, Travel Coordinator ensures that travel needs are met within the constraints of the company travel budget. May coordinate with outside travel agencies. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Travel Coordinator works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Up to $1,300 per full year student (placed with a host family and supervised), bonuses as well as travel incentives.
NOTE: Salary range is based on average supplemental income per year. However, there is no limit on the amount a local coordinator can earn annually.
