Travel Coordinator coordinates travel arrangements. Schedules hotel, flight, and car rentals and prepares itineraries. Being a Travel Coordinator answers questions about travel policies and process. Assists with visa processing and other travel related documentation. Additionally, Travel Coordinator ensures that travel needs are met within the constraints of the company travel budget. May coordinate with outside travel agencies. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Travel Coordinator works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. What does a Local Coordinator do?
* Works closely with exchange students, host families, and local high schools including monthly oversight of the exchange student and conducting orientations
* Receives full training, teaching and ongoing support from the management team
* May be involved in the recruitment of volunteer host families for our international high school students

Qualifications:
* Ability to problem solve and support students and host families during the students' program
* Self-motivated, organized, well-networked within the community
*Driver’s License and transportation
*Ability to pass a Background Check
* Recruitment skills with the ability to screen potential leads (Nice-to-have)
Compensation is dependent upon recruitment efforts and student oversight. **This position provides supplemental income ONLY**
