Family owned multi state Tour Operator looking to add an Outside Sales Manager/Office Manager in our Travel Agency office in Mishawaka Indiana. We are looking for an energetic, driven and detail-oriented candidate that has a passion to build a cohesive, busy, and profitable office atmosphere. We would like this candidate to have sales experience to help build our group tour clientele. This will include researching communities which will fit our demographic for group tour travel, reaching out to communities and building relationships within each community. The Office Manager role will include cultivating a collaborative working environment with all members of the office and being able to create and maintain a pleasant working environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness and communication.

The following is a description of some of the duties that will be involved.

• Presentations for group leaders
• Organize various travel shows in coordination with the planning and marketing department.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with all new and prospective customers and monitor all activities for sales calls.
• Evaluate and select prospective accounts to increase business and revenue for the organization.
• Secure new clients by networking, prospecting, etc.
• Ensure customer satisfaction.
• Come up with strategies, tactics, profit targets, sales plans, etc.
• Plan new programs to increase business and profits.
• Work with the marketing manager for sales initiatives on different mediums like the internet, print and electronic media.
• Represent the organization at travel shows and events.
• Follow up on the progress made in achieving the goals and come up with solutions to any problems faced.
• Keep accurate records.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Ability to take initiative and be a strong leader.
• Lead by example, always maintain a professional image, follow company policies.
• Written and verbal communications skills essential, ability to effectively communicate with clients and staff members.
• Computer skills required, ClientBase program knowledge a plus.
• Ease working with the public.
• Good organizational skills.
• Must be able to work daytime hours with occasional evening/weekend hours for events.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $47,000.00 per year
