Travel Supervisor jobs in Orange, CA

BASIC PURPOSE

Supervises a crew of Technicians and Mechanics that maintain equipment at CNG stations by performing maintenance. Also troubleshoots issues and repairs equipment as needed by responding to service calls.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Performs maintenance on hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical equipment installed at CNG stations.
• Has daily oversight of Technicians and Mechanics in their responsible area.
• Monitors times, and employee daily assignments to make sure repairs are completed timely and customer expectations are met and exceeded.
• Orders supplies and parts as needed within company guidelines and purchasing expectations.
• Responds to service calls as required
• Other duties assigned as needed

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

Education :

High school Diploma or equivalent required

Experience :

• Experience maintaining basic mechanical or electrical systems
• 4 years of CNG or 6 years similar experience

TRAINING WILL INCLUDE :

• Train the trainer and all certifications held by the positions Tech I, II, III and Mechanic.
• Proficiency testing required on above material.

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

• Skills : Hard Skills : Working knowledge of Hazmat and OSHA regulations Soft Skills : Good written and oral communication skills, data entry, team player, exceptional customer service, attention to detail, self motivated, good time management skill, ability to multitask and excellent analytical skills
• Typical Physical Demands : Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator Requires normal range of hearing and vision Valid driver’s license
• Travel Up to 75% travel could be expected in this position.
