Buffalo County is hiring for a full-time Deputy Treasurer / Mapping Coordinator to work out of our Courthouse located in Alma, WI.
Purpose of Position:
This position supports the County Treasurer with daily tasks including receipts and deposits of payments, maintains cash balances/ledgers, and coordinates disbursements. The position prepares and maintains tax parcels, surveys, and remonumentation mapping. This position also maintains tax and assessment records and creates tax bills for municipalities. Per statute 59.25 the deputy position is required to take an official oath in which he/she promises to faithfully perform the duties of the office in the absence of the treasurer.
Minimum Training, Experience, and Qualifications Required to Perform Essential Job Functions:

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. An associate degree in Office Management or a related field is preferred.

2 to 3 years of office experience, supplemented by courses relating to real estate principles and laws, GIS mapping and/or accounting is required.

Advanced computer skills are required.

Compensation:
This is a salaried non-exempt position with a starting annual salary of $46,196.
Work Hours:
This position will work primary courthouse hours of 8:00AM to 4:30PM Monday through Friday.
