Treasury Analyst jobs in Anderson, IN

First Merchants Bank is seeking a Treasury Analyst I to join our team. This position will learn and develop an understanding of Treasury Management while executing functions essential to bank performance. Assist the Senior Treasury Analyst and Treasury Analyst II with key duties.

As part of this role you will: 

• Assist with valuing, pricing, accounting, and reporting of interest rate swap transactions.
• Keep up-to-date with all hedging activity including monthly reconciliation of all derivative transactions.
• Manage deposit and loan rate updates on Launchpad.
• Assist with monitoring correspondent banking accounts, including maintaining and updating agreements and documentation.
• Manage daily process of updating collateral values for customer repurchase agreements.
• Assist with processing Insured Cash Sweep (ICS) and Insured Network Deposit (IND) requests and transactions.
• Assist with preparation of various Asset Liability Management Committee (ALCO) reports.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly cash forecasts of First Merchants Bank.
• Special projects defined by Senior Treasury Analyst.

To be successful in this role we require the following: 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, economics, management, or a related field. 

The following would be a plus: 

• One (1) year of related accounting, investment, or finance experience.
