    The Maximo Business Analyst will provide leadership and support in delivering technology and information solutions that enhance productivity, lower costs, and improve information delivery for Operations. By identifying improvement opportunities in Maximo systems and focusing on developing solutions, the Company expects to maximize value from technology investments. This person will work closely with operations staff and corporate leadership to define and implement effective business process enhancements and technology solutions.

    Maximo Business Analyst Essential Functions

    • Be a lead resource in business process and system development for (CMMS/Maximo).
    • Document and define business functions, technical and process specifications, and reporting requirements.
    • Ensure the Maximo system is used efficiently and consistently through user support, documentation, and training.
    • Support the client group in identifying issues, understanding the business needs/processes, and providing solutions.
    • Communicate complicated technical concepts to non-technical users.
    • Keep system setup codes, configurations, and documentation up to date to maintain standards and best practices, high performance of the Maximo system, reduced downtime, and high user productivity.
    • Provide continuous system improvement by monitoring and evaluating current practices and designing and implementing enhancements that lower costs and extract the most value from the Maximo system.
    • Developing system usage and data standards that enable common processes, reports, and skill development.
    • Encouraging innovation, identifying opportunities, and sharing best practices to improve productivity and data quality.
    • Communicate application problems and issues to key stakeholders, including management, development teams, and end-users.
    • Develop reporting and KPIs to support new and existing codes of practice and reliability initiatives.
    • Monitor application performance and recommend improvements.
    • Provide ad-hoc reporting, data queries, and dashboards in Maximo.
    • Write and maintain documentation to describe program development, logic, system coding, testing, changes, and corrections per policy.
    • Coordinate/create testing scripts and validate signoffs with process owners before moving changes into production.
    • Worked as the applications SME (Subject Matter Expert) to assist with system testing and signoff before loading new releases and patches into production.

    Maximo Business Analyst Expected Areas of Competence (KSAs)

    • Experience with and knowledge of CMMS Systems, specifically the IBM Maximo 7.6 and higher version.
    • Knowledge of Windows-based hardware and software applications, including Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio), is required.
    • Experience in advanced SQL and in writing advanced queries.
    • Excellent communication and analytical skills are required.
    • Excellent client relations and customer service skills are required.
    • Knowledge of ERP Software Platforms.
    • Knowledge of SAP is desirable.
    • Maximo integration experience is a plus

    Maximo Business Analyst Education and Experience Requirements

    • 4 Year Degree in Information Sciences or related curriculum and three years of Business, Operations, or IT experience or 2 Year Degree in Information Technology and a minimum of 3 years of Business, Operations, or IT experience
    • 3 years of demonstrated experience with IBM Maximo working as a Functional Consultant/Business Analyst.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
