Treasury Analyst is responsible for supporting all aspects of daily treasury operations. Oversees cash reporting and forecasting, credit administration, lender compliance requirements, administration of business insurance programs, and debt facility modeling. Being a Treasury Analyst researches economic trends and investment opportunities. May assist senior staff with preparing materials and reports using standard methodologies and procedures. Additionally, Treasury Analyst determines procurement of funds, and monitors investments and collections. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Treasury Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. To be a Treasury Analyst typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.     The Treasury Funding Analyst takes direction from the immediate supervisor and or manager of the Treasury Department who sets the overall objective and reviews work for the accuracy of the reconciliations and or reports of clients’ accounts. Reports any relevant information in any discrepancies of clients’ accounts and needs. Invoices clients’ for bank account funding, cash receipts postings, initiates ACH transfers, initiates stop payments, and handles large volume of checks on clients’ accounts.

    Responsibilities

    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy of work is essential in maintaining the relationship with client’s accounts. 
    • Duties consist of entry-level bookkeeping, data processing, accounting functions and could include complexed clerical tasks. 
    • Working knowledge of handling invoices, vouchers, checks, account statements, and account files on small businesses and corporations. 
    • Working proficiently with computers, including Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and the accounting program SAGE100. 
    • Maintain accurate and precise records with attention to detail while performing duties. 
    • Assist with other duties, projects or back up of other job functions as assigned. 
    • Reliable, predictable attendance within client service hours for the performance of this position. 
    • Responsive to internal and external client needs. 
    • Ability to clearly communicate verbally and/or in writing both internally and externally. 
    • Ability to get work as a team member in a rapidly changing environment. 
    • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks while performing duties with minimum supervision,   ability to be flexible, take initiative and display a professional demeanor. 
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Education and/or Experience

    High School diploma or equivalent required.

    Associates Degree in Accounting or Business preferred with 2-3 years of experience in a business setting.

     

    Computer Skills

    Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office products: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
