Treasury Analyst is responsible for supporting all aspects of daily treasury operations. Oversees cash reporting and forecasting, credit administration, lender compliance requirements, administration of business insurance programs, and debt facility modeling. Being a Treasury Analyst researches economic trends and investment opportunities. May assist senior staff with preparing materials and reports using standard methodologies and procedures. Additionally, Treasury Analyst determines procurement of funds, and monitors investments and collections. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Treasury Analyst II/Financial has multiple responsibilities designed to assist the Supervisor/Treasury Services and the Manager/Treasury Services in maintaining the efficient operation of the financial and treasury functions of the Company. These responsibilities include cash management, cash forecasting and planning, preparation of monthly/quarterly interest rate schedules, monitoring and complying with financial reporting requirements, conducting financial analysis, maintaining financial models, and supporting various middle office functions for risk management activities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements for this position are an undergraduate degree in business administration, accounting, finance or economics with a minimum of two to three years of experience in the finance/treasury-related areas, or equivalent, and possession of the ability to adequately communicate with others (i.e., financial analysts, bank executives), both orally and in writing. In addition, a professional certification (i.e.; CPA, CFA, CTP, CFM, CMA, etc.) is highly preferred.
