Additionally, Treasury Analyst determines procurement of funds, and monitors investments and collections. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. To support this, we are currently looking for a Treasury Accounting Analyst in our Warren, New Jersey office. Responsibilities include but are not limited: Ensure all bank transactions (receipts and disbursements) are booked in the General Ledger (“GL”) in a timely and accurate manner Book cash activity vouchers to the GL system to account for specific manual activity (daily, weekly and monthly) Input cash receipts into a Reinsurance Accounting system to ensure proper application of cash per contract/policy Perform monthly bank reconciliation (bank account to general ledger) preparation and improve processes to prevent re-occurrences of discrepancies Collaborate with other Group Finance and legal entity Accounting areas to drive efficient transaction tracking and recording Coordinate with regional Accounting/Treasury partners to aggregate and track completion of foreign bank account reconciliations Review and analyze Treasury Accounting and reporting requirements – including enhancements of the existing practices and alignment with other areas of Finance Fulfill audit requests and other compliance requirements Provide input into treasury technology implementation projects Document procedure enhancements Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related degree 2 to 3 years operations experience in financial institutions with a background in Accounting / Finance / Treasury departments preferred Accounting experience preferred Insurance company experience is a plus Experience with general ledger-based ERP systems (e.g. Peoplesoft and/or Oracle Fusion Cloud); banking portals and systems experience helpful Strong Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Excellent interpersonal, leadership and supervisory skills and an ability to work in a team environment Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills #LI-Hybrid Type: Regular Time Type: Full time Primary Location: Warren, NJ Additional Locations: Everest is an equal opportunity employer. Treasury Analysts seem to be robots plugging in numbers to spreadsheets, but the Director of Billing basically is responsible for and involved in all accounting related to revenues – deferring unearned, accruing unbilled, dealing with auditors, analyzing to ensure accuracy, determining appropriate accruals for bad debt, some forecasting of future billing and/or cash flow, etc.
