Treasury Manager
Venteon is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Treasury Manager to join our client's finance team located in Perrysburg, Ohio.
Overview:
As the Treasury Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing various tax-related activities, cash forecasting, and treasury functions. Your role will be crucial in optimizing our cash position, ensuring tax compliance, maintaining strong relationships with financial institutions, and providing strategic advice on transfer pricing and international legal entity rationalization. Your expertise will play a vital role in shaping our financial decisions and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a tax advisory firm, preferably Big 4, and at least 3 years of industry experience in tax and treasury roles.
- Bachelor s degree or higher in tax accounting. CPA designation is a strong plus.
- Proficient understanding of transfer pricing concepts and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated experience with complex international legal entity structures and their tax implications.
- Strong background in treasury activities, including cash forecasting, cash position optimization, and cash analysis.
- Proven experience working with banks and lenders to manage financial relationships effectively.
- Familiarity with private equity environments and the financial complexities associated with such organizations.
- Working knowledge of tax returns and provision calculations, staying abreast of relevant tax regulations.
- Possess a strategic and analytical mindset, capable of identifying financial opportunities and risks.
- Willingness to dive into the details and work with Excel models to analyze and present financial data effectively.

Responsibilities:
- Cash Forecasting Activities:
- Prepare and maintain 13-week cash forecasts to monitor liquidity needs.
- Analyze and optimize free cash flow to support business operations effectively.
- Determine working capital requirements and implement strategies to manage cash efficiently.
- Develop and present cash budgets to align with financial goals.
- Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for our lender and loan processor.
- Provide necessary interest elections, loan repayment, and draw information to the bank.
- Calculate loan covenant compliance and furnish required documentation to the bank.
- Cultivate strong relationships with banks, being the go-to person for inquiries and compliance requests.
- Tax Strategy and Compliance:
- Collaborate with tax advisors to develop and implement transfer pricing strategies and policies.
- Provide strategic advice on international legal entity rationalization structure and execute plans accordingly.
- Oversee tax compliance execution, maintaining a tax return calendar, and ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Work closely with accounting teams to gather information for tax return and provision calculations.
- Engage with tax service providers to perform routine and one-off analyses in support of tax calculations.
- Advise the accounting team on withholding taxes and state and local tax matters.
