Treasury Analyst is responsible for supporting all aspects of daily treasury operations. Oversees cash reporting and forecasting, credit administration, lender compliance requirements, administration of business insurance programs, and debt facility modeling. Being a Treasury Analyst researches economic trends and investment opportunities. May assist senior staff with preparing materials and reports using standard methodologies and procedures. Additionally, Treasury Analyst determines procurement of funds, and monitors investments and collections. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Treasury Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. To be a Treasury Analyst typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. What We’re Looking For
The Treasury Accountant reports to Assistant Vice President-Treasury and assists by analyzing and processing large dollar transactions and complex reconciliations related to the University's bank accounts and exercises judgment to determine disposition of discrepancies. Prepares bank account daily activity report and assists with the daily bank summary prepared for the Treasurer. Records, examines, and analyzes financial transactions; computes financial data; analyzes and prepares reports; monitors accounts; reviews financial transactions for accuracy and conformance with established standards and procedures; and serves as an accounting resource. The Treasury Accountant also assists with debt related reporting, both internal and external, and provides support in this area as needed.
A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, plus five years of related experience and an active Christian Faith is required. A CPA license or working towards a CPA license is required; Master’s degree is preferred.
A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.
Work is based in Waco, TX., with the potential for a hybrid work arrangement on a case-by-case basis as coordinated with manager.
