Treasury Director manages and oversees all aspects of daily treasury operations to meet the financial obligations of the organization. Oversees cash reporting and forecasting, credit administration, lender compliance requirements, administration of business insurance programs, and debt facility modeling. Being a Treasury Director reviews and approves cash allocation reports, investment records, and expense and earnings forecasts. Develops department policies, procedures, and internal controls. Additionally, Treasury Director ensures policies and procedures meet the organization's objectives, needs, and regulatory body requirements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Treasury Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Treasury Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     The hiring range for this opportunity is $24.80 to $27.50 per hour along with incentive opportunities, creating a competitive total compensation package based on our pay scale, and may be modified by location and is commensurate with qualifications and experience. 

    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Treasury Management Operations Utility is responsible for providing a wide variety of support related to the support, service and implementation of all Treasury Management products and services. This position requires a high level of knowledge of the Treasury Management systems and products, as well as the Bank’s core system. The Treasury Management Operations Utility will provide a superior level of customer service to both our Treasury Management Sales Officers, Branch employees, and our Treasury clients.  

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Reviews Small Business and Treasury Online agreements and reviews computer input of new customers

    • Tracks new and maintains Small Business and Treasury contracts

    • Understands and follows operating procedures for all business and consumer products.  Provides professional sales support to customer and branches/department with business services products.

    • Monitors daily e-mails for Treasury customers and supports their electronic email inquiries.

    • Supports Treasury clients through Finesse Call Que during business hours

    • Demonstrates electronic banking products to Small Business customer when necessary.  

    • Working knowledge of Treasury Management and Business banking products and services along with account ownership policies and procedures.

    • Working knowledge of all banks electronic banking products.

    • Manage the Small Business and Treasury client implementation process by preparing agreements and schedules 

    • Tracking implementation of new Treasury Management services 

    • Communicate the implementation status to the Treasury Management Sales Officer, clients and/or internal staff as required.

    • Respond to internal and external client inquiries regarding Treasury Management products and services, while providing superior customer service always.

    • Monitor and review ACH Return and Notice of Change (NOC) reports and ensure that clients are taking appropriate action, when required.

    • Assist with the monitoring and reporting of ACH exposure limits. Updating limits in accordance with internal credit approval documents.

    • Understand internal procedures and how they relate to compliance and regulatory functions

    • Review Commercial Center transactions initiated by internal users.

    • Perform account maintenance for all Treasury Management and Small Business products and services and effectively resolve problems as they arise. 

    • Escalate problem issues in a timely manner for resolution.

    • Assist with gathering product usage information for month-end reporting.

    • Complete any required maintenance for existing Treasury Management services.

    • Review and update Batch Transactions Entry (BTE) monthly billing file to ensure account billing accuracy. 

    • Willingness to assume additional duties/projects as they arise.

    • Additional duties as assigned

    OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Maintains a current understanding of Bank policies and procedures in compliance with all federal and state laws, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act (SARs, CIP, OFAC), Information Security (GLBA), Identity Theft Red Flags, Financial Elder Abuse Reporting, and any other applicable regulations that may be specific to your job duties.

    • Recommends banks products and services to customers and refers to appropriate sales staff. 

    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    • Maintains a current understanding of stated bank policies and procedures.

    • Works with Treasury Management Operations team to add utility support to both Treasury Support and Implementation Staff

    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED

    • High school diploma or GED required; undergraduate degree preferred.

    • Two years operational background in a financial institution.

    • Two years Treasury or related experience.

    • Ability to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily.

    • Professional with excellent time management skills. 

    • Ability to utilize personal computers and Windows driven programs.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
