This Administrative Law Specialist position performs legal research and is responsible for a range of assignments providing fact and/or legal interpretations at an entry level. Provides legal support relating to property taxes and local financial stability, any receivership transition advisory board and other bureaus and offices within Treasury, including the Financial Review Commission, State Tax Commission, Local Emergency Financial Assistance Board, Michigan Stability Board, and the Bureau of Local Government Services. Assists Attorney General staff by providing litigation support where required, drafting Orders for approval and drafting agreements. Provides legal and policy research assistance within the Department.
Education
