Treasury Director manages and oversees all aspects of daily treasury operations to meet the financial obligations of the organization. Oversees cash reporting and forecasting, credit administration, lender compliance requirements, administration of business insurance programs, and debt facility modeling. Being a Treasury Director reviews and approves cash allocation reports, investment records, and expense and earnings forecasts. Develops department policies, procedures, and internal controls. Additionally, Treasury Director ensures policies and procedures meet the organization's objectives, needs, and regulatory body requirements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Treasury Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Treasury Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. What We’re Looking For
The Treasury Accountant reports to Assistant Vice President-Treasury and assists by analyzing and processing large dollar transactions and complex reconciliations related to the University's bank accounts and exercises judgment to determine disposition of discrepancies. Prepares bank account daily activity report and assists with the daily bank summary prepared for the Treasurer. Records, examines, and analyzes financial transactions; computes financial data; analyzes and prepares reports; monitors accounts; reviews financial transactions for accuracy and conformance with established standards and procedures; and serves as an accounting resource. The Treasury Accountant also assists with debt related reporting, both internal and external, and provides support in this area as needed.
A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, plus five years of related experience and an active Christian Faith is required. A CPA license or working towards a CPA license is required; Master’s degree is preferred.
A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.
Work is based in Waco, TX., with the potential for a hybrid work arrangement on a case-by-case basis as coordinated with manager.
