Treasury Manager manages all aspects of daily treasury operations to meet the financial obligations of the organization. Monitors cash reporting and forecasting, credit administration, lender compliance requirements, administration of business insurance programs, and debt facility modeling. Being a Treasury Manager allocates cash balances, maintains investment records, and prepares expense and earnings forecasts. Develops and implements department policies, procedures, and internal controls. Additionally, Treasury Manager ensures policies and procedures meet the organization's objectives, needs, and regulatory body requirements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Treasury Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Treasury Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Business Deposit and Treasury Services Specialist

  • The Business Deposit and Treasury Services Specialist is responsible for the development of new business relationships with prospective members and enhancing business relationships with current members. Improving the financial well-being of our business membership by determining, and if possible, anticipating their business service needs.

    An ideal candidate for this position has strong interpersonal skills, is member focused, has a solid understanding of business entities and is sales oriented. Additionally, this individual is a collaborator with a positive attitude, maturity and insight. They’d have a willingness to take on administrative, repetitive, or mundane tasks, with the goal of developing ways to automate or improve the process or procedures involved in the further development of the Business Deposit Services area.


    Essential Functions and Responsibilities:


    • Works with existing business members to maintain and expand their existing banking relationships.
    • Draws on existing knowledge of business deposit services, both at U.S. Eagle and other institutions, to participate in business deposit development projects and recommend prioritization of future resource allocation. Open to learning about Treasury Management services specific to enhancing the members business deposit experience.
    • Maintains knowledge of new products and market trends specific to Business Deposit Services.
    • Identifies cross-sell opportunities and cross-selling services to members through in-person sales sessions as well as by telephone, written correspondence, and external sales calls.
    • Contacts prospective business members to develop new business relationships.
    • Assists in the development of the Business Deposit Services product enhancement project. To include but not limited to a Treasury Management suite.
    • Conducts training sessions for all employees to enhance their awareness of Business Deposit Service’s plan to development a more robust line of products and services available to existing and potential business members.
    • Discusses member needs, problems, or complaints, and arranges for meetings between members or prospective members and representatives of various credit union functional areas.
    • Establishes and maintains relationships with 3rd party vendors specific to Business Deposit Services to ensure quality service after a referral.
    • Understands business entity structures and the corresponding documents needed to establish membership on behalf of the business.
    • Identifies solutions for helping new and existing business members based on their needs.
    • Represents the Credit Union at various functions to develop business relationships.
    • Performs other job-related duties required or assigned.


    Experience:
    Five years to eight years of similar or related experience, with demonstrated knowledge of business accounts and services.


    Education:
    Equivalent to a college degree (BS or BA in a relevant field).


    Other Skills:

    • Working knowledge of core banking systems and Treasury services platforms (EPYSIS & Meridian Link a plus).
    • Displays leadership qualities that include analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
    • Strong verbal & written communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
    • Ability to learn and adapt to new information and technology platforms.
    • Applies strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to meet members’ needs.
    • Self-starter who efficiently manages their time and capacity to multi-task and works well independently without direct supervision.
    • Strong work ethic and intense focus on results, acting in the best interest of the business member. Possess a passion and commitment for helping small business clients and an explicit stated career interest in small business.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint etc.)
    • Familiar with remote signing platforms when communicating and executing Business Deposit related documents (Existing experience with DocuSign & Abode software a plus).


    Hours Required:

    Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm

    Occasional Saturdays with sufficient notice
