Treasury Manager manages all aspects of daily treasury operations to meet the financial obligations of the organization. Monitors cash reporting and forecasting, credit administration, lender compliance requirements, administration of business insurance programs, and debt facility modeling. Being a Treasury Manager allocates cash balances, maintains investment records, and prepares expense and earnings forecasts. Develops and implements department policies, procedures, and internal controls. Additionally, Treasury Manager ensures policies and procedures meet the organization's objectives, needs, and regulatory body requirements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Treasury Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. The Treasury Project Manager provides leadership and support for treasury projects requiring strategic planning, reporting, and coordination with multiple stakeholders & business associates. A key responsibility of the Treasury Project Manager is effective process management and development. The incumbent maintains and seeks to create efficiencies in existing processes. Reporting to the VP of Finance & Treasurer, the Treasury Project Manager works with Johns Hopkins Health System affiliates, and internal and external support organizations.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Master’s degree preferred. A degree in a related field may be substituted.
Work Experience: Seven years of direct experience in treasury services, accounting, or finance. Healthcare experience or other relevant experience can be substituted.
Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of treasury office operation, banking, and finance. General knowledge of the health care industry as a payer or provider.
