Treasury Manager jobs in Brownsville, TX
Treasury Manager manages all aspects of daily treasury operations to meet the financial obligations of the organization. Monitors cash reporting and forecasting, credit administration, lender compliance requirements, administration of business insurance programs, and debt facility modeling. Being a Treasury Manager allocates cash balances, maintains investment records, and prepares expense and earnings forecasts. Develops and implements department policies, procedures, and internal controls. Additionally, Treasury Manager ensures policies and procedures meet the organization's objectives, needs, and regulatory body requirements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Treasury Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Treasury Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for overseeing the company's budget and investments. Also manage and work to minimize financial risk for the company. A treasurer will supervise cash management and support proper expenditure to promote the growth of the business.
DUTIES
- Handle all incoming and outgoing banking transactions on behalf of the company
- Submit periodic reports detailing the company's present financial situation and forecasting the coming quarter
- Implement company policies regarding documentation and accounting of receipts and other financial information
- Prepare monthly and yearly budgets while continually monitoring expenditures
- Review statements and provide advice on issues pertaining to business finance
- Oversee and approve all financial plans or revisions to plans
- Meet with the finance and accounting departments and assist in developing financial strategies quarterly and yearly
- Make informed decisions on behalf of the company involving investments and stock
- Perform other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 3 years in finance or budget planning.
Possess knowledge of accounting.
Solid understanding of budget planning and finance in different methodical approaches
QUALIFICATIONS
Proficient in MS: (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
